Creating a culture of belonging

We believe a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture makes us stronger as an organization, and improves the quality of our work. According to data on client team effectiveness, diverse teams produce greater economic success for all.

As part of the investment community, we support opportunities for diverse asset managers across our manager research platform, encourage transparency on the diversity of their workforces and work with asset managers to increase diversity among the key decision makers used across our client portfolios.

We apply this experience in selecting, overseeing and monitoring investment managers for our portfolios as well as for our clients who are developing and executing their own diversity and inclusion strategies.

Working together, we can all broaden the universe of investment opportunities to better reflect the markets we serve.


How we help our clients

Our clients are looking to us to help them solve difficult problems with many possible solutions. Defining what inclusion and diversity means is unique to each client, requiring a well-considered process that embraces quantitative analysis and qualitative judgment. In helping clients decide where and how to invest their next dollar, in a way that reflects their core beliefs and values, they can create positive and lasting change — and a brighter future for their people.
