Mercer's Philip Tenenbaum, Senior Partner, Global Industry Vertical Leader and Energy Vertical Leader, was recently named one of Consulting® magazine’s Top 25 Consultants 2016 for Excellence in Energy. Based in Houston, Mr. Tenenbaum focuses on the alignment of business and HR strategy, particularly as it relates to the energy industry and its struggles with wildly fluctuating global markets and significant talent shortages. He currently serves as global client relationship manager for several of Mercer’s clients, in addition to serving as the firm’s representative to its parent company, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Energy Advantage Initiative.

"We are thrilled that Philip has been honored as a Top 25 Consultant," said Pat Milligan, Global Leader of Mercer’s Multinational Client Group. "Philip has dedicated his career to navigating the ebb-and-flow of the energy industry, mapping business priorities to effective talent and HR strategies, and driving the growth of Mercer’s industry-specific consulting capabilities. Our clients know better than anyone how well-deserved this award is.”

Consulting magazine will honor the Top 25 recipients, including Mr. Tenenbaum, at a gala awards dinner at the Mandarin Oriental in New York on June 16. To learn more about Philip Tenenbaum and the work he has done with Mercer, please visit
