Muriel consults with companies on a wide range of issues related to defined contribution plans. She has a focused expertise in providing fiduciary liability management, investment consulting, vendor evaluation, and financial wellness strategy to corporate and not-for-profit retirement plans.

Before joining Mercer in 2005, she served as Regional Vice President of Great-West Retirement Services in Orlando, FL overseeing the client management and business development responsibilities for the Southeast US defined contribution clients.

Christopher J. Boran advises and defends employers in numerous industries on a range of employment and labor law issues. His practice focuses particularly on defending employers and fiduciaries in class actions arising under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). His practice also includes defending employers in high-stakes class and collective actions arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and related state wage-and-hour laws. Beyond class-action litigation, Chris routinely defends employers in individual-plaintiff actions arising under ERISA, state and federal anti-discrimination and whistleblower-protection laws, as well as other statutory and common law theories.
