In the drive to maximize benefit value, employees have been given more choice and more accountability. Helping employees understand how their benefits work and to make good decisions has become an ongoing challenge for benefit managers. They incorporate infographics, literature and videos to keep employees engaged, and last from one to four minutes – which is really about as much time that most employees want to spend thinking about their benefits.
