This engaging piece in The New York Times, written by a man about to go out on paternity leave, elaborates on a point raised in my recent post: that to achieve the objectives of maternity leave benefits, it may be necessary not only to offer equivalent paternity benefits, but to create a culture in which men and women feel equally confident in using all the leave they want and are entitled to.
