There are good ideas here for ways to support employee health and well-being beyond standard benefits offerings. Examples include on-site activities such as a gym, basketball court, game room, and rock-climbing wall; convenience services such as on-site dry cleaning and barber shops; and discounts for goods and services. One company even offers a flexible seating schedule – employees in the office work wherever they feel most comfortable. As medical benefit designs become more standard to comply with the ACA, employers will be looking for ways to attract and retain workers beyond traditional offerings.
