The Community Health Advisor is a very nice modeling tool devised by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for public health organizations. The tool integrates multiple data sources to create a compelling call to action. The data points include prevention program efficacy, public health prevalence data, and financial outcomes, which are bundled into an interesting series of infographics delivered at the county level. You might ask what all this has to do with employers. We would say it is very relevant, both as an analytic model for population health programs and as a source of very specific information for employers with large rural populations. Plus, it is just plain cool!
